ALEXANDRIA, Va., May 19 -- United States Patent no. PP37,432, issued on May 19.
"Dracaena plant named 'SILINDO'" was invented by Joost Vermeulen (Lubbeek, Belgium) and Mathijs Vermeulen (Lubbeek, Belgium).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A new and distinct Dracaena plant named 'SILINDO' which is characterized by large, lightly spiraled foliage born on an unbranched stem, dark green foliage that is centrally striped with golden-yellow and narrowly margined with yellow-green, and the stability of these characteristics from generation to generation."
The patent was filed on Sept. 1, 2023, under Application No. 18/445,497.
