According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Many trailers require excessive lifting effort to raise a tailgate ramp. This invention reduces this lifting effort. The invention consists of a right and a left unit. They are installed with fasteners on the lower rear corners of the trailer frame aligned with the existing tailgate ramp hinges.
