"Multi-configuration mini jig" was invented by Sidney A Wood (Wasilla, Alaska).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A portable, modular mini mining jig can be configured as a single-stage jig with one or multiple jig cells, or as a multistage jig with one or multiple jig cells per stage. Due to the modular nature of the mini jig components, any number of jig cells and stages are possible. Adding jig cells and stages increases the throughput and capacity of the system, which increases efficiency."
