ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 12 -- United States Patent no. 12,295,945, issued on May 13.
"Enantiomers of substituted thiazoles as antiviral compounds" was invented by Gerald Kleymann (Bad Salzuflen, Germany) and Christian Gege (Ehingen, Germany).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "The present invention relates to novel antiviral compounds with specific stereoconfiguration, especially to specific novel enantiomets, to a process for their preparation and to their use as medicaments, in particular as antiviral medicaments."
The patent was filed on Jan. 21, 2022, under Application No. 17/581,166.
