According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "The present invention provides a filter regenerating apparatus comprising a dust load measurement unit, a control unit, and a vacuum cleaning device. The control unit activates the load measurement unit to measure the dust load on the filter and activates the vacuum cleaning device to vacuum clean the filter if the measured quantity of dust load exceeds a threshold value.
