ALEXANDRIA, Va., March 24 -- United States Patent no. 12,583,340, issued on March 24.
"Charging apparatus for electric vehicles" was invented by Mehrdad Naderian (Newburgh, Ind.).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A power generating apparatus to charge electric Vehicles using unlimited number of magnetic bars embedded onto surface of pavements, to energize winding coil mounted beneath electric vehicles. The batteries are charged as electric vehicles drive down the Interstate or State Highways over magnetic bars at designated speed."
The patent was filed on Feb. 1, 2023, under Application No. 18/104,302.
