According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "An LED module lightstick has an elongated extruded strip with upper and lower slots extending the length of the strip. LED modules are located atop the strip, each of the modules having downwardly extending snap-fit arms which hug the sides of the strip. Threaded position pins extend from each module and into the slot for adjustably connecting the modules to the strip. End terminals are located at the distal ends of the strip.
