According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "The present invention is a viral disinfectant apparatus for conveniently providing a method of preventing viruses from coming in contact with a user's hands. In particular, the invention allows a user to conveniently install and remove the apparatus to a shopping cart while in public spaces. The proposed embodiment provides a unique experience for a user by providing a safe experience for the general public."
