"Solar panel support" was invented by Gary D. Craddock (Bradenton, Fla.) and Paxton Craddock (Bradenton, Fla.).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A solar panel support is disclosed for coupling a solar panel to a wall. The solar panel support includes a base having an upper surface and a lower surface. A first leg is coupled to the lower surface of the base. A second leg is coupled to the lower surface of the base. An upper leg surface is defined in the lower surface of the base between the first leg and the second leg.
