According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Method and apparatus for a laundry sign having an artistic rendering on its front surface and a hidden clothes rod on a rear surface wherein the sign is mountable on the wall of a building so that the laundry sign can be moved from a first position against the wall to a second position extending away from the wall.
