ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 4 -- United States Patent no. 12,320,048, issued on June 3.

"Devices and related methods for maintaining woven material in fixed orientation" was invented by Jannette Lee Jackson (Nokesville, Va.) and Cecil Roger Jackson (Nokesville, Va.).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Devices and related methods for, among other things, maintaining the warp/weft threads of a backing layer of material (e.g., fabric) in a fixed orientation while being sewed are described and provided."
