According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "An articulating motor mount assembly including a first frame segment attachable to an airframe of an aircraft. A second frame segment is rotatably coupled to the first frame segment in a plane oblique to a longitudinal axis of the first frame segment. A third frame segment is rotatably coupled to the second frame segment in a plane oblique to a longitudinal axis of the second frame segment and configured to carry a thrust device.
