US Patent Issued on June 23 for "Vehicle mounted tilt-out recreational shelter" (Minnesota Inventors)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 15 -- United States Patent no. 12,662,042, issued on June 23.

"Vehicle mounted tilt-out recreational shelter" was invented by Alan L Johnson (Pine River, Minn.) and Lee Alan Johnson (Pine River, Minn.).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A shelter for outdoor recreation, comprising a base unit and a fixed unit mounted to a vehicle cargo box and a tilting unit pivotally attached to the base unit, said tilting unit rotates approximately 90 degrees to a nesting position over the fixed unit, thereby facilitating transport.
