According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A bareback riding handle device provides a quick release pivoting handle which is also replaceable when needed. The device includes a base having a bottom surface shaped for conforming to a back of a horse adjacent to a base of a neck of the horse. A handle has a forward end pivotally coupled to the base.
