According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A paint tray carrying device includes a box which has a front end that is open and an entrance extending through a top wall of the box which intersects the front end. In this way a paint tray can be inserted into the box having the paint tray in a horizontal orientation thereby inhibiting paint from spilling from the paint tray.
