"Multipurpose workout and storage bench" was invented by Jim Muth (Hutisford, Wis.) and Tyler Danen (Oconomowoc, Wis.).

The workout bench is supported by a series of rubber gription pads which grip the support surface, preventing the bench from moving while in use.
