ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 28 -- United States Patent no. 12,692,967, issued on July 28.
"Universal pipe repair system" was invented by Herbert Jackson (Thousand Palms, Calif.).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A pipe repair system is provided which is positionable to a repair position in a gap between two sections of a broken pipe. The system includes a U-shaped connector which is engageable with engagement ends of two right angle connectors which have slip sockets at opposite ends which are adapted to couple to the two opposing broken sections of pipe."
The patent was filed on July 9, 2025, under Application No. 19/264,813.
