According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "An accommodation-facilitating intraocular implant has: a ring sized to fit within a capsular lens bag of an eye; and a plurality of haptics angularly spaced around and radially extended from the ring. A multi-curve implantable accommodating intraocular lens has a convex anterior and concave posterior."
