According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "The invention is an anal dilation system that can be used to effectively dilate the rectal sphincter muscles of a user. The system includes a combination of anal plugs and anal wands, each with graduated and coordinated girths that cooperate to achieve a desired dilation of the sphincter muscle. The system can be used to achieve dilation of the sphincter muscle easily, quickly, and with less discomfort compared to current systems."
