ALEXANDRIA, Va., Feb. 24 -- United States Patent no. 12,558,311, issued on Feb. 24.
"Trans-mucosal delivery system for testosterone" was invented by Alvin Kershman (Chesterfield, Mo.) and Jeff L Shear (Bonita Springs, Fla.).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A trans-mucosal testosterone delivery composition for humans or animals having from about 50 to 99 wt. % humectant, from about 1 to 50 wt. % water, from about 0.001 to 25.00 wt. % testosterone, from about 0 to 25 wt. % oil, and from about 25 to 1 wt. % surfactant, wherein the composition is hydrophobic and has release properties."
The patent was filed on July 20, 2023, under Application No. 18/355,924.
