ALEXANDRIA, Va., Feb. 24 -- United States Patent no. 12,559,152, issued on Feb. 24.

"Self-powered mobile cart" was invented by Joseph Morris Robbins (Long Beach, Calif.).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "The embodiments herein are directed to a cart. The cart, which is self-powered via an electric motor residing in a box, is configured for transporting funeral arrangements. The cart efficiently and respectfully handles the movement of floral arrangements and other items, placed on a quadrilateral base of the cart, during funeral services."

The patent was filed on March 11, 2025, under Application No. 19/077,026.
