ALEXANDRIA, Va., Feb. 11 -- United States Patent no. 12,545,176, issued on Feb. 10.
"Taillight assembly" was invented by Steven B. Souder (Naples, Fla.).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A rotatable taillight assembly that allows the taillight to be repositioned to make hazard lights more visible to approaching traffic and/or repositioned to provide light to a rear cargo area or tailgate."
The patent was filed on Sept. 5, 2024, under Application No. 18/824,994.
