According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Process steps including control means and devices for producing freeze dried whole animal pet food are described. The process includes use of a perforating device to produce an array of circular holes with a particular configuration and a selected set of process steps and control parameters that produce the freeze dried whole animal.
