According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A device converts a temperature difference into electric power by a Peltier element. The device includes at least one cold chamber closed by walls and at least one heat chamber open to the outside towards a heating-up area. The heat and cold chambers adjoin one another by one of these walls. This wall includes a Peltier element.
