According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Monitoring equipment for monitoring the performance of systems for crushing solid materials are disclosed. The working condition of an elastic liner material is diagnosed and load parameters are analyzed. Integrated into the liner material is a measuring means in the form of a monitoring sensor which works by measuring the axisymmetric bending of the elastic liner material in response to a known force.
