According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A fidgetable device that relays haptic feedback via magnetic coupling to hands and fingers, when an operator uses an outside magnet to drag an inside magnet over a rugged interior surface. This haptic experience is akin to walking a pet on a retractable leash. Thus the designation fidget walker.
