According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A cable connector and method includes a female connector and a male connector. The male connector includes a threaded portion insertable through a standard Knock Out (KO) of a panel unit and a nut threaded onto the threaded portion to retain the male connector through the KO. The female connector including a threaded cap engaging the threaded portion to connect the female connector to the male connector."
