ALEXANDRIA, Va., April 21 -- United States Patent no. 12,604,900, issued on April 21.
"Penflufen as a wood preservative against wood- destroying basidiomy cetes" was invented by Bernd Koop (Cologne, Germany), Martin Kugler (Leichlingen, Germany), Thomas Jaetsch (Cologne, Germany), Johannes Kaulen (Odenthal, Germany) and Tanja Gerharz (Dusseldorf, Germany).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "The invention relates to the use of penflufen for protecting wood and wood-comprising materials against wood-destroying basidiomycetes."
The patent was filed on June 30, 2023, under Application No. 18/216,663.
