ALEXANDRIA, Va., April 15 -- United States Patent no. 12,599,690, issued on April 14.
"Medical or dental cassette" was invented by Hassan Malik (Sialkot, Pakistan) and Haseeb Sajid (West New York, N.J.).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A cassette that includes at least one tray defined by a plurality of walls extending from a panel to receive at least one dental instrument in a reception space defined by the walls, and a locking mechanism, or at least one lockable lock bar, or one part of a coupling mechanism, located in the reception space."
The patent was filed on April 28, 2023, under Application No. 18/140,763.
