KINGSTON, R.I. - Oct. 27, 2026 - Citing the increasing need for professionals trained in artificial intelligence and the significant push for implementing ethical practices in utilizing the advanced technology, the University of Rhode Island is launching a new Interdisciplinary and Applied AI bachelor's degree program.
The new program, which will have a soft launch this spring and be fully integrated by the fall of 2027, will be offered through the University's College of Business in cooperation with the College of Arts and Sciences.
