KEARNEY, Neb., March 23 -- The University of Nebraska Kearney issued the following news release:
KEARNEY - The University of Nebraska at Kearney Department of Criminal Justice will host a Nebraska State Patrol Experience Day on campus Wednesday, March 25.
As part of the educational event, there will be an increased Nebraska State Patrol presence on campus beginning that morning and lasting throughout the day. This activity is planned and coordinated with the university. There is no emergency.
Inside Ockinga Conference Center, students will participate in a crime scene investigation walkthrough and a "day in the life" station highlighting the role and responsibilities of a state trooper.
