UMAINE'S ZILLMAN ART MUSEUM OPENS FIVE NEW EXHIBITS

ORONO, Maine, Sept. 24 -- University of Maine issued the following news release:

The University of Maine's Zillman Art Museum, located in downtown Bangor, has opened five new exhibitions that will be available through December.

The latest exhibits include:

* "Another Day, Another Way," which features over 25 large and small-scale paintings by Philadelphia-based artist Tim McFarlane.

* An array of 1960soil paintings, drawings and watercolors fromAmerican Abstract Expressionist painter John Schueler.

* The newly giftedKing Family Collection of Japanese Prints, featuringtwenty-one Japanese color woodblock prints that date from the mid-1700s to the 1950s.

* "Collection by the Decades," a selection of 21 works from the museum's collection ...
