LAFAYETTE, La., Sept. 23 -- The University of Louisiana at Lafayette issued the following news release:
The University of Louisiana at Lafayette Chamber Singers have earned international recognition again, advancing as semifinalists in the 2026 Petrichor International Music Competition.
The Chamber Singers were selected in the competition's large ensemble category, which included professional and nonprofessional orchestras, bands and choirs from around the world. The full list of semifinalists and competition results is available here.
The recognition adds to an international record that includes top finishes in competitions in Italy, Wales and the Netherlands.
