The University of Georgia School of Medicine held its inaugural White Coat Ceremony at the UGA Performing Arts Center on Aug. 29. The White Coat Ceremony marks a significant milestone for medical students, who officially don their white coats for the first time.
The ceremony brought together friends, family, faculty and staff, along with donors and leaders from UGA, the University System of Georgia and Georgia's healthcare community.
