Sept. 28, 2026 | William McClain, administrative director at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) East Regional Campus in Helena-West Helena, will expand his role to include chief administrative officer at Helena Hospital, beginning Oct. 1.

McClain grew up in Marianna, Arkansas, less than 30 miles from Helena-West Helena. He graduated from Memphis University School in Memphis, Tennessee, in 1994 and earned two bachelor's degrees in finance and marketing management from the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville.
