UAH ALUMNUS MIKE WICKS DONATES $1.5M TO NAME MULTI-PURPOSE ROOM IN NEW JONES ENGINEERING BUILDING

HUNTSVILLE, Ala., Sept. 17 -- The University of Alabama in Huntsville issued the following news release:

Engineering entrepreneur Mike Wicks, a 1993 graduate of The University of Alabama in Huntsville (UAH) College of Engineering, stands outside the new Raymond B. Jones Engineering Building on the UAH campus on Sept. 3, 2026. Wicks donated $1.5 million to the building project to name its multi-purpose room the Wicks Family Innovation Hall.

The College of Engineering at The University of Alabama in Huntsville (UAH) made a professional and personal impact on Mike Wicks, who received his master's degree in mechanical engineering from UAH in 1993.
