WASHINGTON, D.C.- U.S. Senator Katie Britt (R-Ala.) joined Senator James Lankford (R-Okla.) and colleagues in introducing theMilitary Chaplains Modernization Act of 2026(MCMA) to codify the purpose, role, duties, and professional qualifications of military chaplains and to protect chaplains from being forced to violate their sincerely held religious beliefs.
