U.S. DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH AND HUMAN SERVICES AWARDS MORE THAN $11M TO NORTH DAKOTA

The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) announced the recipients of more than $11 million in grants for public health, early childhood education and workforce enhancement. A total of $11,012,412 will be distributed to six recipients as follows:

* $5,210,000 to the North Dakota Department of Health and Human Services for the Public Health Emergency Preparedness (PHEP) Cooperative Agreement, enabling the state to better prepare for and recover from public health emergencies. * $2,175,900 to Bismarck Public Schools for Head Start and Early Head Start to support early childhood education and associated services for eligible children and families. * $1,...
