Standing inside a military aircraft, U.S. and Tanzanian medical professionals worked through a problem that could someday become very real: how to safely move a seriously ill or injured patient through the air.
Where would the patient go? Where could the medical team work? How would oxygen, monitors and other lifesaving equipment be secured? And how would medical personnel and aircrew coordinate throughout the mission?
