When Gabriella Bermea entered the architecture profession, few women and even fewer Latinas were licensed architects. She's spent nearly a decade trying to change that. She now mentors emerging professionals, serves in leadership roles and has co-created a scholarship.
"I didn't meet an architect until right before leaving for university," Bermea said. "I built the Architect Big Sis platform as a way of meeting people where they are, introducing them to the profession through online channels."
