WASHINGTON, June 10 -- Transportation Security Administration has issued a notice called: Temporary Exemption for Certain Over-the-Road Bus Owner/Operators That Provide Fixed-Route Service to the Public.

The notice was published in the Federal Register on June 10 by Ha Nguyen McNeill, Senior Official Performing the Duties of the Administrator.

Summary: TSA is granting a temporary exemption from certain requirements in 49 CFR parts 1570 and 1584 for certain Over-The-Road Bus (OTRB) owner/operators that would otherwise be required to submit a security training program to TSA no later than 90 calendar days before commencing new or modified operations.
