TRAFFIC ADVISORY: SAFETY IMPROVEMENTS BEING INSTALLED ON U.S. 49 AT CYNTHIA RD. IN JACKSON OCT. 13

JACKSON, Miss., Oct. 13 -- The Mississippi Department of Transportation issued the following news release:

MDOT crews will install a Low-Cost Directional Median on U.S. 49 at Cynthia Rd. in Jackson October 13. Drivers are advised to pay close attention to all traffic control and be alert for roadside workers in the area.

WHAT: MDOT crews will install a Low-Cost Directional Median (LCDM).

WHEN: Between 7 a.m. and 4 p.m. on Tuesday, October 13, 2026.

WHERE: U.S. 49 at Cynthia Rd. in Jackson.
