Today, Rep. Bennie G. Thompson (D-MS), Ranking Member of the Committee on Homeland Security, released the following statement on the 25th Anniversary of the September 11th, 2001 Attacks.
"Twenty-five years later, the pain of September 11th has not faded. We remember the nearly 3,000 people who were taken from their families and the extraordinary courage shown by first responders and ordinary citizens alike. The best way to honor them is to make sure our country never suffers a tragedy like that again.
