FARMVILLE, Va., Aug. 17 -- Longwood University issued the following news release:
The factors that influence a student's college decision are numerous: location, academic rigor, campus size and even familial legacy connections, just to name a few.
For Longwood's incoming class, however, there's a common refrain.
"The minute I visited campus, I fell in love with it," said Maya Mira '30.
"When I toured Longwood my junior year of high school, as soon as I walked on campus I felt like I was home," said Langley Keefe '30.
"When I was touring, just walking around campus made me feel like I belonged here. Everyone was so kind, and I could just see myself loving it here all four years," said Ragan Payne '30.
