NASHVILLE, Tenn., Aug. 28 -- The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation issued the following news release:
At the request of 23rd Judicial District Attorney General Ray Crouch and 19th Judicial District Attorney General Robert Nash, TBI special agents are investigating the circumstances that led to an officer-involved shooting Friday morning in Montgomery County.
Preliminary information indicates that at around 3:30, deputies with the Dickson County Sheriff's Office were responding to a call regarding a stolen trailer. They located the trailer along with a male subject who fired shots at deputies and then drove away.
