NASHVILLE, Tenn., May 23 -- The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation issued the following news release:
At the request of 30th Judicial District Attorney General Steve Mulroy, TBI agents are investigating the circumstances leading to an officer-involved shooting that occurred Wednesday night in Memphis.
Just before 7:30 p.m., members of the Memphis Safe Task Force responded to a report of a man armed with a gun, threatening to harm himself, in the 2100 block of Westchester Drive.Preliminary information indicates that upon their arrival, they encountered Jonah Neal (DOB: 08/30/2000) with multiple weapons inside the residence.
