FAIRBANKS, Alaska- The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) in Fairbanks is ready for another busy summer travel season at Fairbanks International Airport.
Historically, July and August are the busiest two months of the year for FAI, with eight of the top ten busiest days on record falling within those two months. The increase in travelers often brings an increase in prohibited items at the checkpoint, such as: jams and jellies over 3.4 ounces, ulus, knives, and outdoor equipment such as camping fuel and bear spray.
