UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. - Three summers ago, Antonia "Nia" Barley arrived at Penn State's University Park campus as a high school student preparing for the transition to college and adulthood.
This summer, she returned to help other students make that same transition.
Barley, a Penn State junior majoring in human development and family studies with a minor in rehabilitation and human services (RHS), in 2023 participated in the Pennsylvania Department of Labor & Industry's (L&I) Summer Academy for Students who are Blind or Visually Impaired.
