BOISE, Idaho, Aug. 5 -- Boise State University issued the following news release:
"We had one of the biggest series of large debris flows July 22, 2026. It came out of a tributary called Trail Creek, which flows through the Grandjeancampground, and it actually inundated the campground, destroying multiple vehicles. Luckily, there were no fatalities, but there's now a big recovery effort underway from that."
