n March 28, Georgia College & State University hosted the annual spring concert. This year, Jacksonville, Florida, indie-rock band flipturn headlined the show at Centennial Center with openers Futurebirds from Savannah and student-led band MINDA.
Battle of the Bobcats winner MINDA started the evening off with an impressive line-up of covers and new, original songs. Blending the styles of Stevie Wonder, Allman Brothers Band and The Backseat Lovers, MINDA gravitates towards any song they and the audience can have fun with. Flipturn even sneaked out into the audience to see the young local talent.
